The Old Rectory in Stalbridge are currently looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant (three nights per week) to join their night team. Experience in residential care is essential for this position and ideally you will already have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role.
As a senior carer you would take responsibility for the care of our residents during your shift, you would be required to dispense medication, and carry out personal care duties such as bathing, dressing and assisting toileting/incontinence care. You would take an interest in the residents and clients, helping them to live as full and enjoyable a life as their health permits. You would also be required to support and supervise other staff and carry out certain administrative duties, such as updating care records.
Essential requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in residential care
- Medication trained
Desirable requirements:
- Nourish experience would be an advantage
Hours:
Three nights per week. Shifts are 9.00pm - 7.00am. (Rota to be discussed at Interveiw)
Rates of pay:
£14 per hour
