The Money
Class 1
- £48,000 – £56,000+ per year
- £15.00 per hour
- £16.00 per hour after 50 hours
- Bonus scheme
- Night Out Allowance
- Average earnings around £48k
- £56k+ achievable
Class 2
- £42,000 – £48,000+ per year
- £13.50 per hour
- £14.50 per hour after 50 hours
- Bonus scheme
- Night Out Allowance
- Average earnings around £44k
- £48k+ achievable

The Work
- Long-distance general haulage
- Monday to Friday with some Saturday morning run-ins
- Usually 2–3 nights out per week
- Full-time permanent position
This is general haulage work, no sitting on the same bay every day sipping coffee while someone else unloads you.
You’ll be:
- Delivering goods safely and on time
- Completing vehicle checks
- Handling paperwork
- Communicating with dispatch
- Looking after your allocated vehicle and keeping clean & tidy
And yes, you get your own truck.
No playing bingo, “with I wonder what truck I’ll get today?”
Who We Want
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Reliable attitude
- Good work ethic
- Drivers who understand the job and get on with it
Experienced drivers preferred, but:
New Class 1 Passes Welcome, but would need to start and gain experience on Class 2 before progressing onto Class 1after around 6 months.
