Night Care Assistant – Residential Care Home
Location: Housman Court
Hours: Night Shifts 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am alternative weekends
Salary:£12.71 P/H

We are seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our residential care home. During the night, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, while promoting their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
About the Role
As a Night Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents throughout the night.
- Assisting residents with mobility, toileting, and bedtime or morning routines.
- Carrying out regular welfare checks and responding promptly to call bells.
- Supporting residents who may feel anxious, confused, or require reassurance during the night.
- Completing accurate care records and reporting any concerns to the senior member of staff.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Following a night time cleaning schedule.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is kind, patient, and compassionate.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can remain calm and professional in a variety of situations.
- Is reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
- Holds a Health & Social Care qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Has previous care experience (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
