We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning and general kitchen duties while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping and portioning food.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with cooking and food preparation.
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure food is prepared to a consistent standard.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment.
- Keep kitchen surfaces, equipment and floors clean and hygienic.
- Store food correctly and check deliveries and stock levels.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Help with serving and plating food when required.
- Keep the kitchen organised and well stocked.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Support other members of the kitchen team with general duties as required.
Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
