We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain the reception area in an organised and tidy manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software is an advantage such as Guestline/ Rezlynx, Opera or any property management system (PMS), but not mandatory; training will be provided.
