Summary
Reporting to the Production Manager for the smooth running of the workshop activities. Overseeing all processes and procedures relating to customer orders, quality control and health and safety arrangements .
KEY DUTIES:
The jobholder will be responsible to the Production Manager for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of a small production team.
Work with the team to manage and prioritise tasks to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
Encourages team effort and supportive attitudes among workers.
Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
Keep the Production Manager informed of any significant issues relating to workshop operation, whether it be production, quality, health and safety, or personnel issues.
Identify and support continuous improvement.
Setting high standards to reach production goals and ensuring that higher quantities produced do not compromise quality.
Where appropriate, carry out shop floor production operations.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Be able to physically lift/move products within the legally specified weight limit.
Good communication skills with a high level of spoken and written English.
Numerate, literate and possessing a high level of dexterity.
Awareness of good people management practice.
Pay: £23,132.00-£24,877.00 per year
