At Green Fox Cleaning, we are looking for an experience and reliable cleaner that takes pride in their work to join us as a day janitor, cleaning a secondary school in Worthing (BN14 8BG area)
Please note working shift times for this role are fixed at 11:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday (27.5 hours per week)
This role is for 43 weeks of the year, which is 39 weeks term time cleaning, and four weeks deeper cleaning spread across the school holiday periods.
Payment once settled in the role will be offered on a fixed monthly spreadover payment, where you will receive the same monthly payment each month, which takes account of working 43 weeks per year (39 weeks term time plus 4 weeks deeper cleaning) and 5.6 weeks (28 days) holiday per year.
During term time you will complete routine daily cleaning, and in the school holidays you will complete deeper cleaning of different areas of the school.
We will provide full training around all aspects of cleaning, the safe use of chemicals (COSHH), safe manual handling, bodily spills cleaning and all other essential training to keep you safe at work.
What will I do on a typical day?
Your role will be varied and dynamic, but will include the following:
- Cleaning and refreshing of toilets throughout the day
- Emptying and changing bins
- Litter picking (inside and outside school building)
- Cleaning of bodily spills
- Cleaning of communal corridor areas and dining areas
