Description:
IME is a specialist mechanical engineering company working in the energy-from-waste sector. While we typically don't use subcontractors, we are currently seeking 1/2 skilled fabricators for a short project at the beginning of September in South East London, and have work after at a site in East London.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be working on plate work relating to ductwork and hoppers, alongside our in-house team.
Key Details:
- Dates: September 7th - 12th
- Duration: 1 week (additional day work available after for successful candidate)
- Hours: 12-hour nights 6pm-6am
- Location: SE2
- Rate: £475 per shift (lodging included in the rate) £230 for day in lieu payed on completion.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in plate work / fabrication
- Confident with on-site prep, cutting, MIG welding, and grinding
- Own tools and PPE
- Able to work long shifts safely and reliably
