Loch Duart is a leading producer of premium Scottish salmon, renowned for our commitment to quality, sustainability and innovation. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering function, ensuring our processing facility and supporting operations run safely, efficiently and reliably.

The Role
As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of site engineering operations. You will ensure the effective delivery of both planned preventative and reactive maintenance while supporting operational efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the engineering team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme.
- Ensure all plant, equipment, infrastructure and site assets remain safe, compliant and operational.
- Provide engineering support to Loch Duart's farming sites and company properties when required.
- Manage and close engineering actions arising from internal and external audits.
- Oversee spare parts control and asset management systems.
- Manage external engineering contractors and service providers.
- Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture throughout engineering activities.
- Work closely with the Processing Director and wider management team to prioritise engineering projects and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting through appropriate systems.
- Act as an active member of the HACCP team.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering leadership role.
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment (preferred).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of planned maintenance systems and continuous improvement.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational support.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and food manufacturing compliance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
