Two exciting opportunities have arisen for 2 administrators with Community Care Services Admin Team within ICASS office.
- The first post is for 24.3 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 0830 1300 and Friday 1200 1700, based at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
- The second post is for 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday during standard office hours, based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline
These roles form part of the Community Care administrative service, supporting the Community Rehabilitation Teams, whose aim is to enhance the quality of care and outcomes for older adults by enabling them to remain independent in their own homes, homely settings, or communities.
The ICT provides a person-centred and integrated approach to hospital admission and discharge, intermediate care, and reablement. The service is designed to deliver seamless care through improved coordination and alignment of services.
These posts are integral to the Community Care Services administration team, supporting clinical referrals to the ICT and acting as the first point of contact for the Fife-wide Single Point of Access (SPOA). One post will be based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, and the other at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy. Both roles are critical to the effective functioning of the sider system, requiring high level of accuracy to manage the complex referral process.
Applicants should be educated to Higher level, or hold an SVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or possess equivalent experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and familiarity with databases are essential, as the role involves managing electronic referral systems and databases. Strong telephone and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work flexibly, including occasional public holiday cover on a rotational basis. There may also be a requirement to work across sites. A positive attitude towards delivering high-quality customer service and effective team collaboration is essential.
