I am currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join a rapidly growing and ambitious organisation within the engineering and technical services sector.
This is a pivotal position within the operations team, responsible for coordinating engineering activity, supporting fleet compliance, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day delivery of services. You will act as a central point of contact between engineers, customers, and internal teams, helping to maintain exceptional service standards.
A key part of the role will involve managing and maintaining engineer training records, qualifications, and compliance requirements, ensuring all certifications are current and identifying any training needs to keep the engineering team fully up to date and compliant.
Duties Will Include:
· Coordinate engineer schedules for installations, maintenance, breakdowns, and off-hires
· Manage reactive and planned service activity to ensure excellent customer delivery
· Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
· Support fleet administration, including compliance and documentation
· Maintain and update the engineer training matrix, ensuring qualifications and certifications remain current
· Proactively identify training needs and ensure engineers remain compliant and up to date
· Ensure compliance with operational standards, including ISO 9001 processes
· Maintain accurate service and operational records
· Support process improvements and system optimisation across the department
Desirable Experience
· Previous experience in service coordination, hire control, or operations
· Understanding of compliance and Health & Safety processes
· Experience managing engineer schedules and training records
