Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team based in Scotland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering goods across Scotland, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members.
Duties
- Deliver goods to various locations across Scotland, ensuring all items are delivered accurately and on time
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, utilising warehouse experience as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained throughout each shift
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols during driving and loading activities
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment
- Valid driving licence with a clean record (no more than 6 points)
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Experience driving a 3.5T van
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and the handling of goods is desirable
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- Physically fit and able to handle and manoeuvre items weighing up to 20–25 kg, as required by the nature of the role
