Property Administrator

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and reliable Property Administrator to support the day-to-day management of our property portfolio.
This is a varied role involving tenant communication, property administration, maintenance coordination and general operational support. You will act as an important point of contact between tenants, contractors and the property management team.
The role would suit someone with strong administrative and communication skills who is interested in developing their career within the property sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tenant and property records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain tenancy agreements, property documentation and compliance records.
- Respond to tenant enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Log and coordinate property maintenance requests.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers and follow up outstanding works.
- Keep tenants updated regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with enquiries relating to available properties.
- Arrange appointments, inspections and contractor visits where required.
- Monitor outstanding tasks and ensure issues are followed through to completion.
- Prepare basic property, maintenance and occupancy reports for management.
- Maintain an organised digital filing and property management system.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider property team.
What We're Looking For
Previous property experience is useful but not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
You should have:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confident telephone and written communication skills.
- Good general computer skills.
- Ability to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time.
- A professional approach when dealing with tenants, landlords and contractors.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Experience using property management or CRM software is advantageous.
Property Management Software
Experience with Yardi or another property management platform would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
Progression
There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to take on greater responsibility as the property portfolio grows, with potential progression within property management and operations.
