Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Brewing and Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. Full training will be given but experience is preferred. This role involves supporting the brewing process and managing warehouse operations to ensure smooth production flow. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for food safety, and a mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities
- Assist in the brewing process, including ingredient handling and equipment setup
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards throughout all operations
- Support warehouse activities such as stock organisation, inventory management, and goods movement. Must be able to lift and be comfortable lifting beer kegs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and mechanical checks on brewing and storage equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area in accordance with safety regulations
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements, batch sizes, and inventory counts
- Document processes accurately and assist with quality control procedures
- Support the head brewer during brewing production activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience or understanding of food production processes is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational needs
- Driving License and be over 25 (for insurance purposes) Delivery days are normally 30% of the working week

Pay: £12.21-£15.50 per hour
