Job Overview
We are seeking five skilled Painters & Decorators to join our team starting tomorrow (asap). The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on a student accommodation price work or day rate , ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for interior and decorative tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal of rooms .
Must have CSCS certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements.
- Repair or replace damaged plaster or drywall before painting.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within specified timeframes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Skills
- Proficient in various painting techniques and applications.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to drive to different job locations as required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for design.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
