Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Builder to join our dynamic construction team. As a Builder, you will play a vital role in transforming plans into reality by constructing, assembling, and finishing structures with precision and care. Duties
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate construction processes.
- Fabricate and assemble structural components using hand tools, power tools, carpentry, joinery, and masonry techniques.
- Install roofing systems, perform heavy lifting tasks safely, and execute construction painting for finishing touches.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work where necessary, adhering to safety standards and building codes.
- Use masonry skills to lay bricks, blocks, or stones for walls and other structures.
- Perform site preparation activities such as framing, drywall installation, and site cleanup to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately.
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving on-site.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to construction trades are preferred but not mandatory.
