The Role
The Digital Impact Lead is a new and exciting role responsible for driving the strategic use of digital tools, data, and platforms to enhance the charity’s impact by ensuring effective implementation and integration of existing and new software for enhancing the charity’s capacity and impact by ensuring effective implementation and integration of existing and new software for recording data, reporting impact, monitoring performance and reducing the manual data inputting for our frontline staff and managers.
This role will lead the development and implementation of digital strategies that support programme delivery through improved data gathering, integration of systems and reporting. By leveraging analytics, innovation, and user-centred design, the Digital Impact Lead will ensure that digital initiatives are aligned with the charity’s goals and deliver improved outcomes and support for children and young people.
About You
Qualifications:
- Likely degree-educated (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a logical discipline such as maths, physics, philosophy, computer science.
Experience & Essential Person Specification :
- Has digital skills and wants to use their powers for good.
- Will be excited by the possibilities that digitalisation can offer to support the charity to provide improved analysis of the impact of our work with disadvantaged children and young people; and to develop business process automation so we can spend more time working with disadvantaged children and young people.
- Demonstrable experience in digital implementation such as development of programmes, web-based applications and/or app development including suite of Microsoft materials.
- Experience producing dashboards, KPI reporting and organisational insight
- Strong analytical skills with experience using PowerBI and advanced Excel
- Will be confident in learning new programs, web-based applications and app development
- Will be technically savvy but also able to explain relevant concepts in straightforward, laymen’s language to support end users. Can present complex data in an accessible format.
- Will have experience of:
- MS 365
- MS Power Automate
- MS Power Apps
- Strong understanding of data governance and GDPR
- Will be a self-sufficient lifelong learner who is happy to get stuck in and figure things out and find innovative ways to improve delivery.
- A self-starter who can work equally well on their own or with team.
