We are looking for a friendly, reliable Leisure Attendant to join our team for 25-30 hours each week. This is a varied role combining reception, customer service, and hands-on responsibility for maintaining our gym, pool, and spa facilities to a high standard.
You will be a key point of contact for guests and members, helping to create a welcoming, safe, and well-run environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests
- Answering calls, handling enquiries, and taking spa and membership bookings
- Selling memberships, treatments, and promoting current offers
- Processing payments and taking responsibility for till accuracy
- Maintaining accurate membership records and supporting admin tasks
- Ensuring changing rooms, poolside, and gym areas are clean, safe, and well maintained
- Carrying out regular checks of the facility, including basic poolside safety checks (training provided)
- Replenishing towels, stock, and refreshments
- Supporting guests with queries and ensuring a high standard of customer care at all times
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, professional manner with strong customer service skills
- Confident communicator, both in person and on the phone
- Reliable and able to work independently
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Comfortable balancing customer service, cleaning, and administrative tasks
- A proactive approach with an awareness of sales and promoting services
Working Hours
This is a part-time role with shifts across the week, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility during busy periods is essential.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
- Experience in leisure, hospitality, or reception is desirable but not essential
- Basic IT skills required; training will be provided on internal systems
