Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role involves transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, requiring both driving skills and physical stamina for heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with Customer Services regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed.
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
- Valid driver's licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred.
- Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods.
