Transport Planner
Hours - Mon- Fri 08.30 - 18.00 - Immediate Start
Duties will include
- Planning drivers routes and running live plan **No experience required. Full on job training Provided**
- Telephone communication to customers and drivers
- Support Ops
- Using Microsoft products and bespoke software
- Compiling job lists
- Sending and replying to emails
- Problem solving during a live daily transport plan
- Printing and photocopying as required.
- On call out of hours phone rota.
Required skills
- Good geographical knowledge
- Computer literate
- Able to work well under pressure. Fast paced Transport environment
- Able to use all Microsoft products
- Ability to learn new bespoke computer software
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to work as a team
