We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer with experience. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist with construction, maintenance, and other General cleaning and Labouring duties. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of our organisation. Must live in the Halifax area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the site setup.
- Skilled Labourer required to assist other trades.
- Physical labouring
- Perform general labour tasks but not limited to: cleaning and tidying, cleaning site office, cleaning toilets, carrying materials, loading skips.
- Unloading materials
Site duties.
- Keeping site clean and tidy including cleaning and organising cabins and welfare area
- Erecting signage
- Securing fencing
- Disposing of waste
- Chasing walls out
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications and Abilities:
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks, whilst being physically able.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
