Job Summary
Sales Assistant based at our Kirkintilloch Branch of our Independent Electrical Wholesaler. We are looking for a confident person who enjoys meeting new people & has excellent communication skills as to which they are able to serve customers at our trade counter & on the phone also.
The Role of Sales Assistant:
- Serving customers over the Counter
- Dealing with customers via the phone
- Picking orders from the Warehouse
- Booking in deliveries, putting goods away, keeping the branch tidy
- Working as part of a tightly-knit team to ensure that the branch runs efficiently and effectively
Duties
- Engage with customers proactively to understand their needs and recommend suitable products
- To make sure customer satisfaction is held to a great standard
- Assist in maintaining the presentation and organization of the sales floor to ensure an inviting shopping environment
- Manage customer inquiries both in person at our trade counter & over the phone with clear, professional communication
- establishing strong relationships with our customer base
- Able to use our computer system to process transactions accurately and update customer records efficiently.
Requirements
- No experience required as training will be giving in branch, We would also require enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential qualities.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with our customers
- Basic computing skills for using our point-of-sale system (Training will be provided in branch)
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in our working environment
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining stock levels, product displays, and documentation
- Working hours will be from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
