Duties
- Assist lead coaches in planning and delivering engaging training sessions across various sports disciplines
- Support children of all skill levels by providing encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback
- Help supervise participants during practices, games, and other activities to ensure safety and proper conduct
- Contribute to the setup and organisation of equipment, facilities, and event logistics
- Promote a positive team environment by encouraging respect, discipline, and sportsmanship among athletes
- Support the implementation of coaching strategies aligned with program goals
- Maintain clear communication with coaches, participants, and parents regarding schedules and expectations
Skills
- Prior sports coaching experience or a strong passion for sports and coaching
- Reliable and good time keeping
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organisational skills for managing equipment, schedules, and participant needs
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for promoting healthy activity and teamwork
- Willingness to learn new coaching techniques and adapt to different sports environments
- Basic I.T skills, such as basic functions of a tablet (used for registers and assessments).
Pay: £16,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
