Role: Estimator (Construction)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary: £49,000 to £53,000 (DOE)
Location: Southampton (occasional site visits/meetings may be required)
Hours: Monday – Friday - 8:00 – 4:30pm

We are delighted to be supporting our client with an Estimator vacancy at their site in Southampton.
Our client are leaders in their industry and have been in the industry for over 30 years working for Main Contractors and Direct clients alike. They offer a collaborative and supportive environment and carry out works from £1K - £3m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver project tender process & negotiations, feasibility study and Bill of Quantities
- Collaborate and build relationships with Clients and Suppliers.
- Price up construction works and tender packs, including completion of tender documentation, submit and follow up.
- Analyse drawings and schedules to ensure all aspects covered.
- Ability to work closely with Contract Manager and draughtsman’s
- Price any variations
- Price up small works.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in estimating
- Some experience within the industrial roofing and cladding industry or a background in the construction within the industrial and commercial sector.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers alike.
- Ideally have experience in an Estimating system
- Some experience in schedules of rates costing
- Be able to use Microsoft office packages.
- Driving licence and CSCS Card would be advantageous.
