Job Overview:
We are currently seeking reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our client’s team based in Carrington. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing work with competitive pay, flexible shifts, and the option of tramping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and collections
- Complete nationwide deliveries, including trunking and tramping routes
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Adhere to all driving laws, Working Time Directive, and company procedures
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience preferred
- Good understanding of UK driving regulations
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DR or IN convictions)
- Willingness to work days, nights, and tramping as required
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £18.50-£23.00 per hour
