Duties
- Open and close the centre securely, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Assist with general maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools, including minor repairs and adjustments
- Support with heavy lifting activities for equipment or supplies, following proper safety procedures
- Monitor security systems such as CCTV and alarm systems to safeguard the facility
- Provide excellent customer service by guiding visitors and responding to their inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and maintenance logs
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks regularly
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable with a proactive attitude towards security and maintenance duties
- Previous experience in a technical or facilities role is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently as a keyholder, managing opening and closing procedures confidently
