Job Description
- Conducting the smooth functions relating to requisition, receipt, stacking, and dispatch of goods and supplies.
- Working as a Team to ensure all goods are despatched OTIF
- Organising the systematic storage of material.
- Minimising loss with care, attention to detail and appropriate handling.
- Communicating issues within warehouse team, the supervisor and other members of staff.
- At all times, attending to H&S best practice and maintaining an efficient and safe working environment.
Overview of Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Correctly parcelling/palletising items for despatch.
- Checking all products prior to despatch.
- Assembling fire trolleys and alarms prior to despatch.
- Extinguisher commissioning
- Processing stock received in from suppliers, according to written procedures.
- Loading and unloading of Lorries, containers and/or other vehicles.
- Contributing to accurate stock taking.
- Computer work including despatch notes and courier web delivery details.
- Gaining familiarity with stock passing through the warehouse and with stock records.
- Performing all duties assigned by the Warehouse supervisor and/or supervisors.
- Following proper documentation and safety procedures of all warehouse functions.
- Housekeeping duties, to include sweeping and disposing of waste at the end of each day.
Team Working
- To communicate and work effectively within the Bull Products team.
- To maintain flexibility and liaise with the team with regards to cover.
- To provide mentorship and peer-support to other team members where appropriate.
- To work alongside other senior members of the team in aiming to ensure that service delivery within the warehouse is of high quality and is evaluated appropriately.
- To participate in, and facilitate, the training of colleagues and learners.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
