We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing the overall smooth running of the bar. Duties
- Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality control in food and beverage offerings.
- Coordinate daily operations, including stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies.
- Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, safety protocols, and product knowledge.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Organise team schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to optimise revenue.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork and hospitality excellence.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or bar environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
- Experience with food production processes and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospitality services such as serving, bar management, or café operations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen experience is advantageous.
- Previous barista experience or expertise in coffee preparation is beneficial but not essential.
