MAC Construction (EA) Ltd is an established building contractor who are fully experienced to undertake all types of construction work including refurbishment, new build schemes, renovation, alterations, industrial and commercial for both the private and public sector.
We are looking to recruit a hard-working, reliable Construction Labourer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
Working alongside our site managers, tradespeople and subcontractors, your duties will include:
- General site labouring and housekeeping.
- Loading and unloading materials.
- Assisting skilled trades where required.
- Keeping sites clean, tidy and safe.
- Moving materials and equipment between sites.
- Assisting with site set-up and dismantling.
- Driving company vehicles to collect and deliver materials as required.
- Any other duties associated with a busy construction site.
Requirements
- Must hold Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience working alongside construction-related trades such as ground works, carpentry, masonry etc
- Good timekeeping and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting and working at heights if necessary
