About the role:
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Producer to join our in-house Video Production Team within External Relations. You will produce high-quality short and long-form content for major student recruitment campaigns, paid and organic marketing activity, social media, University events and internal communications.
You will take projects from initial brief and creative development through to filming, editing and delivery, working with colleagues and contributors from across the University. The role also includes opportunities to work on multi-camera productions and live broadcasts, including our twice-yearly graduation ceremonies.
About you:
You will have experience of producing professional video content across the full production process, with strong practical skills in camera operation, lighting, sound and editing. You will be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, or Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve.
You will be creative, organised and confident working both independently and collaboratively. You will be able to manage competing deadlines, develop audience-focused ideas and produce engaging, accessible content for a range of digital platforms. Experience of multi-camera production, live streaming, motion graphics or producing content within a university, education setting or another large organisation would be advantageous.
This role will involve filming on and off campus, including transporting and setting up production equipment, with reasonable adjustments where required, and to work occasional evenings and weekends according to business needs.
