We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Paralegal or Trainee Legal Executive to join our fantastic property team. The position is based in the Crosby Office.
This role will involve assisting senior property lawyers in a busy, fast-paced department, supporting residential and commercial conveyancing work and providing day-to-day assistance to the property team across all of our offices.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting senior property lawyers with all types of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, including flats.
- Setting up and dealing with files from onboarding, through to completion and post completion work.
- Diary management of key tasks.
- Updating clients on case progress in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicating with estate agents, lenders and other agencies.
- Providing day-to-day support to the property team across all offices.
- Using case management systems and relevant conveyancing portals to progress matters efficiently.
Skills and experience required
- A minimum of 12 months’ previous experience in a property paralegal role is essential.
- Confidence and experience in assisting with residential conveyancing work essential.
- Experience in assisting with commercial conveyancing work desirable.
- Experience of case management systems, Laserforms, the Land Registry and SDLT Portals are essential.
- Experience of using InfoTrack is desirable, although full training will be provided.
- Experience of working in a CQS-accredited practice is desirable.
