Storeperson / Delivery Driver

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Storeperson / Delivery Driver to join our busy team at Dream Doors West Edinburgh.
This is a varied, hands-on role that plays a key part in the smooth running of our kitchen installation business. You'll be responsible for receiving deliveries, managing stock, checking goods for accuracy and damage, preparing materials for installations, and carrying out deliveries to customers and installation teams using our company van.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things organised, works well independently, and understands the importance of accuracy when handling high-value products and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries.
- Inspect all goods for damage, shortages, or quality issues and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Organise and maintain stock within the warehouse/store room.
- Prepare and stage products for upcoming kitchen installations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Carry out local deliveries and collections using the company van.
- Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Work closely with the showroom team, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Undertake manual handling and lifting of kitchen components and materials.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, stores, or logistics environment.
- Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Desirable
- Experience within the kitchen, home improvement, or construction industry.
- Joinery, maintenance, or trade experience.
- Experience managing stock control systems.
- Forklift licence (although not essential).

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- No weekend working
