Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-trade builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of building activities, ensuring projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a broad skill set in construction trades to contribute to diverse projects, from residential to commercial developments.
Duties
- Undertake groundwork, foundation, and drainage tasks
- Undertake carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Carry out roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete pouring
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction activities
- Fabricate components on-site as required for specialised projects
- Assist in site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry & masonry is essential
- Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing work, and fabrication knowledge
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in building environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Capability to run a team, and ensure progress schedules are met on a daily/ weekly basis
- Time keeping and reliability ESSENTIAL. Hours are 7.45am- 4.30pm
- Must have own vehicle and core tools
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary
- Commitment to health and safety regulations on-site
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential; experience will be considered equally valuable
