Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee and manage our MEP projects. This critical role involves planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in electrical project and contract management within the MEP sector and be skilled in coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage electrical aspects of MEP projects from initiation through completion.
- Manage a team of project managers and supervisors
- Creation and submission of Technical Submittals for comment and acceptance.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects within Programme.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Measure and report on project performances.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders through thorough communication in person, via teams calls and email.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to health and safety and quality standards.
- Utilise project management software (Procore) and tools to monitor and track project progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager in the MEP sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design, and installation within large-scale projects.
- Excellent management skills, including planning, execution, and resource management.
- Proficiency in using project management software.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide.
