We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist primary school in Aldershot from September.
The school caters for approximately 165 pupils aged 4 to 19 with complex learning difficulties. This role is based within the primary department, supporting younger pupils with a range of additional needs to help them achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex learning difficulties.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and personalised learning activities.
- Support pupils with their communication, independence and social development.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Help create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to ensure every pupil receives the highest level of support.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
