We are a small children's charity supporting families of children with disabilities and complex needs. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator Level 3 to join our specialist Under 5s Provision, where children and families are at the heart of everything we do.

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering high quality early years experiences that promote learning, development, and wellbeing.
Through observation and assessment, you will help identify each child's strengths and areas of need, supporting them to thrive through personalised targets, sensory rich learning opportunities, and meaningful play experiences.
You will work closely with families, colleagues, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
· Working within the Under 5’s provision with children aged 2-4 years old with special educational needs, responsible to the Under 5’s Deputy and Under 5’s Manager.
· Plan and deliver fun, engaging activities that reflect children's individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
· Provide and maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment to support children’s emotional wellbeing.
· Setting up, and tidying away resources daily, as well as some light cleaning duties.
· Building strong and meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
· Liaise effectively with external agencies involved in supporting our children and families.
· Contribute to children's observations, assessments, learning journeys, and personalised targets by using the Early Years Framework, Birth to Five matters and Developmental Profile. (Training will also be provided)
· Modelling positive play and intensive interactions daily with the children.
Essential Requirements
· A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
· A strong communicator with the ability to build positive, supportive relationships with young children, their families and colleagues.
· Practical experience working with children aged 2-4 years old.
· A kind, caring and proactive individual who has a passion for working with children and their families.
· Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage or Birth to Five Matters.
· Consistent, punctual and reliable individual.
Desirable Skills and Experience
· Experience working with children with SEND in a paid or voluntary position (but training will also be provided)
· Understanding of Safeguarding and Autism
· Familiarity with carrying out developmental observations and monitoring children’s progress.
· Ability to work as part of a smaller team.
· Ability to use a computer

Pay: £25,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
