Location: Garic Head Office, Bury
Salary: £31,212 + Business Benefits & Bonuses (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Full-Time, Permanent

We’re now looking for a Hire Desk Controller to join our high-performing team in Bury. You’ll be at the heart of our operations—handling customer enquiries, managing quotes, and promoting our products and services, all while building lasting customer relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle inbound calls and email enquiries for quotes, new hires, and off-hires.
- Proactively engage with customers to promote Garic products and services, identify upsell opportunities, and build strong relationships.
- Qualify customer enquiries to fully understand their needs and add value wherever possible.
- Liaise with internal departments to confirm stock and transport availability.
- Follow up on customer quotations and ensure SLA and KPI commitments are met.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all processes.
- Own and resolve customer account queries to a satisfactory resolution.
- Represent Garic with professionalism and positivity, living our values: Work together, Be better, Be innovative, Do the right thing, Trust each other.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
- Experience in plant/tool hire, welfare, or construction equipment sectors.
- Knowledge of SLA and KPI reporting.
