Job Summary
We are looking for a Design Technician to join our Foundation Design Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good technical aptitude who is looking to start or restart their career in a technical design environment.
No previous experience is required. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with technical information and has a methodical, organised approach. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone returning to work after a career break or looking to take their career in a new direction.
Responsibilities
Working as part of our Foundation Design Team, you will support the preparation and development of foundation designs and associated technical information. You will receive training and support to develop your skills and knowledge.
The role will involve working with AutoCAD and Excel, so confidence with computers and an ability to learn new software are important. An interest in engineering, construction, design or technical subjects would be an advantage, but is not essential
About You
We are looking for someone who has:

- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Clear and confident communication skills

- Good computer skills and an interest in learning AutoCAD and Excel
- A positive, practical and reliable approach to work
Previous experience is not essential – attitude, aptitude and a willingness to learn are more important.
