An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive individual to join the Diabetes Department within NHS Forth Valley as a Diabetes Education and Technology Coordinator.
The post holder will provide administrative and coordination support for diabetes education and technology services, including referral pathways, waiting lists, patient correspondence, education sessions and equipment processes relating to insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring, as well as supporting the Diabetes Nursing team with administrative tasks as required.
Working closely with Diabetes Specialist Nurses, dietitians, medical staff and external suppliers, you will support the smooth running of a busy specialist service. You should have relevant administrative experience, strong organisational and IT skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied workload while maintaining confidentiality.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
