Location: Casa Mia Care Home, Far Forest, Kidderminster (DY14 9EH)
Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time or Part Time (including alternate weekends)
About the role
We're looking for a Team Leader to help lead our care team and ensure the smooth, safe, and effective running of shifts at Casa Mia Care Home.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate staff, oversee care delivery, maintain standards, and support residents and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes.
You'll play a key role in promoting a positive culture, ensuring safe practices are followed, and helping the home run consistently through strong leadership, organisation, and accountability.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and coordinating staff during shifts
- Overseeing care delivery to ensure support is safe, person-centred, and in line with care plans
- Monitoring standards and addressing issues promptly and professionally
- Supporting medication management and risk management processes
- Completing and reviewing care records, handovers, incident reports, and documentation
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies are followed
- Acting as a key communication link between staff, management, residents, families, and professionals
- Supporting staff development, induction, and day-to-day guidance
- Responding effectively to incidents, emergencies, and safeguarding concerns
- Promoting dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life for residents at all times.
What we're looking for
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a senior role within a care setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Confidence in decision-making, risk management, and escalation
- Good understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and confidentiality
- A calm, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
