We are a leading multi-disciplinary planning consultancy working across England, Scotland and Wales, providing services for planning feasibility appraisals, permitted development, custom and self-build sites, enforcements, planning appeals, site licenses, conditions and supporting clients at committee.
We are seeking a Planner to join the team with experience within the planning sector to assist directors and senior staff in undertaking the company’s portfolio of planning and appeal casework.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Managing applications from appointment to determination
· Assisting with preparation of quotes
· Assessment of potential new client files prepared by others
· Monitoring of the process and progress of planning cases and conducting negotiations with LPAs and consultees
· Preparing statements and supporting documentation for planning applications and appeals
· Monitoring of the process and progress of planning applications and appeals and conducting negotiations with LPAs and consultees
· Responding to planning contravention notices and s330 notices.
· To manage casework from initial enquiry to determination under supervision of senior staff
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Post Graduate Qualification from an RTPI Accredited Course
· Good understanding of the Planning System
· Drawing/CAD software skills
· Ability to handle and prioritise a busy and diverse workload
· Meticulous approach to dealing with data
· Willingness to learn new skills

Additional information:
The role is based at our offices at Upton Magna Business Park. There may be some out of hours working with time off in lieu, mutually agreed in advance.
Working hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
