A stunning historic castle hotel set within 10 acres of Highland grounds on the world-famous North Coast 500, just north of Inverness. We serve evening meals, afternoon teas, and function catering, and welcome guests for romantic breaks, family retreats, and events.
The Role
We welcome applications from chefs at all levels — whether you are a Commis Chef looking to develop your career or an experienced Chef ready to take on greater responsibility. Salary will be discussed and agreed based on your level of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with the hotel's menus and standards
- Supporting service across breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner
- Maintaining food hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety standards at all times
- Assisting with stock management, ordering, and minimising waste
- Contributing creative ideas to seasonal menus and daily specials
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting (all levels considered)
- A genuine passion for food and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential — training can be provided
