This is a great opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to take ownership of a residential property portfolio within a growing business. The role focuses on day-to-day property operations, tenant support, and on-site management, with less emphasis on traditional lettings experience.
You’ll be out on site, solving real problems, building relationships with tenants, and ensuring properties are well-managed and compliant. The position offers strong autonomy, exposure to multiple locations, and clear progression opportunities as the company expands.
Key ResponsibilitiesProperty & Tenancy Management
- Support the management of residential properties across your assigned portfolio
- Assist with tenant onboarding, move-ins, and general tenancy processes
- Coordinate check-ins, check-outs, and property readiness
- Maintain accurate tenancy records and documentation
- Respond to tenant queries in a professional and timely manner
Lettings Support (Non-Essential Experience)
- Conduct occasional property viewings where required
- Support the lettings process (training can be provided)
- Assist with tenancy agreements and key handovers
Maintenance & Compliance
- Log and triage maintenance issues, escalating where necessary
- Coordinate contractor access for repairs and inspections
- Monitor completion of routine compliance tasks (e.g. gas safety, EPCs, EICRs)
- Carry out basic property inspections and identify potential issues
- Maintain accurate compliance and health & safety records
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain property records using internal systems
- Support rent tracking and flag issues to management
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking ForEssential
- 1–2+ years experience in property, customer service, operations, or a related field
- Basic understanding of tenancy processes or willingness to learn
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations
- Comfortable using software systems (training provided if needed)
- Proactive, hands-on attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Previous experience in residential property management
- Familiarity with local areas (Sidcup, Finchley, Birmingham, London)
- Experience with property management systems (e.g. Arthur, Fixflo, Inventory Hive)
- Driving licence
- Interest in long-term career progression within property
