Trainee Pest Control Technician

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the pest control industry. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of pest management services for both residential and commercial clients. This includes routine pest control, specialist treatments, proofing, cleaning, and surveying services.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pest inspections and identify pest activity.
- Learn and perform pest control treatments safely and effectively.
- Assist with and carry out heat treatments for bed bug infestations.
- Conduct CCTV drainage surveys to identify rodent ingress points and drainage defects.
- Install pigeon proofing systems, including solar panel proofing, netting, spikes, and wire systems.
- Assist with the safe removal of bee swarms and nests, following current legislation and best practice.
- Carry out pest-related cleaning and decontamination, including the safe removal of bird droppings, rodent contamination, and biohazard cleaning.
- Install pest proofing measures to prevent future infestations.
- Complete digital treatment reports and recommendations.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and stock levels.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and industry best practices.
