We are seeking experienced Business Analysis professionals with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System experience at both Business Analyst and Senior Business Analyst level to join the Strategic Projects Office within the PPSC. These roles will play a critical part in shaping and delivering the University’s CRM Future Project.
Whether operating at practitioner level or providing strategic leadership, you will apply strong business analysis expertise to help the University make informed decisions, realise benefits, manage risk and deliver sustainable change.
The Roles
As part of the SPO Business Analysis team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the University to support the scoping, analysis, and delivery of the next phase of the CRM Future Project, which is scheduled to run until December 2027. You will play a key role in delivering business-critical CRM systems, working collaboratively with operational colleagues, internal specialists and technical teams, as well as external suppliers.
You will apply your strong business analysis expertise to help the Project Team understand business needs and shape the design and implementation of solutions that deliver productivity improvements, operational efficiencies, and increased staff and student satisfaction. Your contribution will enable and University to make informed decisions, realise benefits, manage risk and deliver sustainable change.
Business Analyst – Grade 7 (Fixed Term till December 2027) £38,784 - £46,049
At Grade 7, you will:
Work with the project team and key stakeholders to support the discovery and analysis of Business Needs and requirements.
Apply established business analysis techniques to map processes, create User Stories with Acceptance Criteria and explore solution options.
Lead the discovery of operational data and process readiness for supplier-delivered CRMs,
Facilitate effective user testing of new CRM systems.
Engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders to gather insight and support effective decision‑making.
Contribute analysis that underpins successful project delivery, assurance and benefits realisation.
Senior Business Analyst – Grade 8 (Fixed Term till December 2027) £47,389 - £56,535
At Grade 8, you will play a strategic leadership role and will:
Engage directly with University Executive Board members as well as senior Project Leads and Project Board members.
Translate strategic aims and objectives into practical, deliverable outcomes
Define and lead business analysis activity within the CRM Future Project, establishing clarity, shaping options and making evidence‑based recommendations.
Advise senior leaders on feasibility, impact, benefits and risk.
Take responsibility for Business Analyst work planning and the quality of business analysis outputs across the Project.
Mentor, support and advise less experienced Business Analysts within the SPO team to help build business analysis capability across the organisation.
Support governance boards with high‑quality analysis, insight and documentation.
At the strategic level, the Senior Business Analyst is not only documenting requirements, but actively shaping university‑wide decisions and long‑term transformation initiatives.
