About the Role
Kilgannon Motors is seeking an organised and enthusiastic General Administration Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the business. This varied role provides administrative support across the vehicle servicing, vehicle sales, and bodyshop departments, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workload and working as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Support: Raise and process customer and supplier invoices, assist with purchase and sales ledgers, process payments, support payroll administration, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Sales Administration: Prepare vehicle sales documentation, process vehicle registrations and transfers, update vehicle stock records, liaise with finance companies, and assist with customer handover paperwork.
- Bodyshop Administration: Open and maintain repair job files, liaise with insurance companies and customers, schedule repairs, and ensure all repair documentation is completed accurately.
- Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for customers, respond to enquiries professionally, build positive relationships with customers and suppliers, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Good numerical skills and confidence working with financial information.
- A professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within the motor trade, garage, dealership, or bodyshop environment.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Experience with vehicle sales administration or bodyshop processes.
- Experience working in a small or family-run business.

Pay: Up to £28,500.00 per year
