Hello
It is never easy advertising a position held by someone who has been such an important part of the business for many years. Our current Branch Manager has made the difficult decision to return home to South Africa to be closer to her family, and she will be deeply missed by us all.
We are now looking for someone to take responsibility for our established Farnham branch. While experience and the ability to manage a busy home care branch are important, the person behind the role matters just as much to us.
We are looking for someone caring, approachable and genuine, who leads by example and understands that good care begins with looking after the people delivering it. You will be joining an experienced office team and a wonderful group of carers who genuinely care about the clients they support.
As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading and supporting the office team and carers
Maintaining high standards of care and compliance
Building strong relationships with clients and their families
Managing new enquiries, assessments and the continued growth of the
Working closely with the Registered Manager and wider management team
Understanding the branch figures and taking responsibility for its performance
Making sure clients and carers continue to feel known, listened to and supported
We would like to hear from someone who:
Has management experience within home care or a similar setting
Is kind, calm and confident when dealing with people
Can lead a team while remaining approachable and involved
Understands compliance and the responsibilities of running a care branch
Is organised and able to manage competing priorities
Has a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, or is willing to work towards one
Holds a full UK driving licence
This is an important appointment for us. We are not simply looking for someone to manage figures and processes; we want someone who will care about the branch, the team and the people we support.
In return, we offer a supportive working environment, ongoing training and development, opportunities to progress, pension, holiday entitlement and mileage where applicable.
