Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming environment
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards
- Serve food efficiently from the kitchen to tables, ensuring timely delivery and presentation quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar stations, dining spaces, and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Support in basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as garnishing drinks or assembling simple dishes
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining attention to detail in billing
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation skills
- Strong understanding of guest services principles with excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
