Location: Bognor Regis, West Sussex
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence essential
About Optima Management
Optima Management is an independent residential managing agent based in Bognor Regis, specialising in the management of apartment blocks, private estates and resident management companies across the South Coast.

As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking to recruit our first Trainee Property Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career within residential property management. Previous experience in block management is not essential, as full training will be provided by our Company Director. We are looking for the right person with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to learn.
The Role
Working closely with the Company Director, you will receive hands on training across every aspect of residential block and estate management.
Your duties will include:
- Communicating with residents, leaseholders, directors and contractors.
- Raising and monitoring maintenance works.
- Assisting with contractor management and obtaining quotations.
- Carrying out regular site inspections across our portfolio.
- Supporting the preparation of service charge budgets and financial reporting.
- Using our cloud based property management software to manage developments.
- Helping onboard new developments.
- Assisting with compliance, health and safety and statutory requirements.
- Preparing correspondence and resident communications.
- Attending meetings with directors and residents.
As your knowledge develops, you will gradually take responsibility for your own portfolio with continued support and mentoring.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You will ideally have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- A full UK driving licence.
Previous experience within residential property management is not essential.
