Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in commercial premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained during evening hours, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures, bathrooms, stairs, corridors.
- Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and products to achieve high standards of hygiene.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously while on site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
